Project Employ

We are pleased to announce that Project Employ was nominated earlier this year to receive our quarter three Giving Back donation. Project Employ provides the opportunity for those with disabilities to become work-ready. Their vision is to create a community where young people with intellectual or learning disabilities are engaged in meaningful, paid employment like any other member of society.

Project Employ’s vision is brought to life through Flourish Café in Takapuna, a place that serves as a genuine stepping-stone to employment and independence for the trainees. This unique work environment not only provides them with valuable work experience but also fosters personal growth. By being involved in all aspects of running the café, the trainees gain life skills and a sense of direction, purpose, and belonging within their local community.

We welcomed Sarah, Hannah, and Ben to our office earlier this month, where they accepted the donation on behalf of Project Employ.
